Provided is a method for assisting with a change of impression in which correlation information, which indicates a correlation between head hair texture impression type information and glossy hair color information indicating the hair color in a glossy region that is an area of a hair color change, is used to specify one of the texture impression type information or the glossy hair color information and thereby select the other.
