Abstract:
A method for automatically adjusting a drive recorder lens and a drive recorder. The method comprises: recording a threshold value of distance between an object and a vehicle (S101); detecting the distance between the object and the vehicle (S102); determining whether the distance between the object and the vehicle is less than the threshold value of distance; if not, maintaining the same state (S103); and if so, adjusting a drive recorder to aim at the object, and performing shooting and recording (S104). In the method and the drive recorder, the distance between an object and a vehicle is determined, and when the distance is too short, the drive recorder is adjusted to aim at the object, so that when the distance between vehicles or between people and vehicles is too short and collision may occur, the drive recorder is adjusted automatically so as to eliminate a dead angle of shooting of the drive recorder.
