Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of calibration of the bidirectional light receiving and emitting power of single fibre bidirectional optical network devices, and specifically relates to a method for automatically calibrating the bidirectional light receiving and emitting power of a PON network device, comprising the following steps: step one: a PON network device bidirectional light receiving and emitting power automatic calibration apparatus performs self-calibration; step two: an external PON network device to be calibrated connects to the PON network device bidirectional light receiving and emitting power automatic calibration apparatus, and the light receiving and emitting power of the PON network device to be calibrated is calibrated; the PON network device bidirectional light receiving and emitting power automatic calibration apparatus comprises a bidirectional automatic calibration unit and a central control unit, the bidirectional automatic calibration unit and the central control unit being connected. The present invention implements point-to-point bidirectional real-time calibration of the same light source in a true sense, greatly improving the degree of accuracy, reducing manual intervention, effectively improving productivity, reducing costs, and improving the practical performance of the device.
