Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for automatically operating a seawater desalination apparatus for a seawater desalination ship, the method comprising the steps of: checking the current location of a ship by using ship location information; checking the water level of a production-water tank of a seawater desalination apparatus mounted in a ship, if it is confirmed that the current location of the ship is at a location set in advance; and operating the seawater desalination apparatus so that the seawater desalination apparatus produces fresh water, if the water level of the production-water tank is less than a preset highest water level.
