Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for automatically ordering from a menu by using a smartphone and, more specifically, to a method for automatically ordering from a menu of a store by using a smartphone without installing a specific application when a customer carrying the smartphone enters the store. The method for automatically ordering from a menu according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: activating a link with an AP of the store by a local wireless network communication client embedded in the smartphone; inducing, by the AP, access to an eMenu service of a menu service adaptor (MSA) by using an HTTP redirection function if a browser of the smartphone is activated; forming, by the MSA, an HTTP session with the smartphone attempting access to provide a web-based eMenu screen to the smartphone; placing, by the smartphone, an order with the MSA from the menu, writing up an order form by the MSA, and transmitting the order form to the smartphone to receive confirmation of the order; and confirming the order by the MSA and transmitting, to a payment terminal, order information including the price.
