Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a method for automatically partitioning a network, an apparatus, a device, and a storage medium, relating to the field of network communication technology. The method comprises: acquiring a maximum network scale supported by a bit index explicit replication traffic engineering (BIER-TE) network; determining, according to topology information concerning the BIER-TE network, a total network scale of the BIER-TE network; determining, according to the total network scale and the maximum network scale, whether the BIER-TE network satisfies a network partitioning condition; and if the BIER-TE network satisfies the network partitioning condition, partitioning the BIER-TE network. The embodiments of the present invention partition a BIER-TE network, such that the total scale of each partitioned sub-network is not greater than the maximum network scale, ensuring that a message can be forwarded to an egress node of the network.
