Abstract:
In this invention, when it is not possible for an electricity-generating device to operate coupled to an electric power system, within a speed range of an energy-source efficiency-characteristics curve from a rated speed to a maximum speed, said electricity-generating device operates autonomously with respect to the connection and disconnection of loads along said efficiency-characteristics curve. During autonomous operation, when an operation-preparation command is outputted by a control unit, a valve-position command is outputted to an inlet valve for a water turbine, a first converter is operated in a converter mode, a second converter is operated in an inverter mode when a voltage is established by a DC linkage unit, and when operation preparation is complete, the loads are connected.
