Abstract:
Provided are a method and a base station for realizing AMC. The method comprises: a base station instructing user equipment (UE) not to report a channel quality indicator (CQI), and sending to the UE the data information, the amount of which satisfies a first time window and which carries a first scheduling modulation and coding scheme (MCS); the base station determining, according to the feedback information corresponding to the data information, a first block error ratio (BLER) within the first time window that the first scheduling MCS corresponds to, and determining, according to the first BLER and a target BLER, a second scheduling MCS. This invention does not require the UE to feed back the CQI, avoiding the waste of air interface resources.
