Abstract:
a method for blocking low-inertia backflow of emulsion applied to cold rolling includes the following steps: 1) arranging a rubber baffle (7) at the inlet side of the cold rolling mill and above a strip passing line, and arranging another rubber baffle (10) at the outlet side of the cold rolling mill and above the strip passing line; 2) after changing the rolling pass, putting down the rubber baffle at the inlet side to press against the upper surface of a strip to block emulsion backflow when the rolling speed of the cold rolling mill is less than 4m/s, and lifting up the rubber baffle at the inlet side from the upper surface of the strip when the rolling speed of the cold rolling mill is not less than 4m/s. The rubber baffle at the outlet side is always kept to being at lifting position during this procedure. This blocking method is simple, and it can block emulsion backflow while rolling at low speed.
