Abstract:
The present invention is a method for brazing an aluminum alloy material without using flux, characterized in having the objective of forming a joint fillet having adequate joint strength, and in being "a method for brazing in which a metal powder is caused to adhere to the surface of the aluminum alloy material, and then, without using flux, is braze-heated in an atmosphere of inert gas or hydrogen gas, the aluminum alloy material containing 0.40-1.5 mass percent Mn with the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities, the metal powder including at least one element from among Si, Mg, Zn, and Al, the deposition amount of Si on the surface of the aluminum alloy material being 1.0-10.0 g/m2, the deposition amount of Mg being 0.1-3.0 g/m2, and the deposition amount of Zn being 1.0-5.0 g/m2."
