Abstract:
The present invention relates to an oil-water separation method and, more specifically, to a method for separating an oil from water containing an emulsion-type oil. The oil-water separation method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: collecting samples of water containing an emulsified petroleum oil; putting a cationic polymer into the samples and checking whether the samples have been demulsified; separately putting an oxidizing agent, an acid, and a base into the samples that have not been demulsified, and checking whether the samples have been demulsified; and putting the materials, which have been put into the samples being demulsified, into the water containing an emulsified petroleum oil and demulsifying the same.
