Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for burning a burner, which exert an NOX reduction effect and which have practical value. Specifically, disclosed is a method for burning a burner in a heating furnace, wherein: the flow rate of a fuel fluid and/or an oxidant fluid supplied to the burner is periodically changed; a periodical variation is generated with regard to the oxygen ratio, in which the amount of oxygen supplied is divided by the amount of oxygen that is ideally needed, by periodically changing the oxygen concentration within the aforementioned oxidant fluid; and the burning state has a periodical fluctuation by creating a difference between the oxygen ratio and the periodical variation of the oxygen concentration.
