Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for calculating and determining an optimal dirt removal period for a water-cooled electric motor, belonging to the technical field of industrial energy saving and safety. The method comprises calculating, by actual measurement, the amount of heat generation and the heat transfer performance of an electric motor; calculating actual dirt thickness, overall thermal resistance and an overall heat transfer coefficient of the electric motor; calculating a minimum cooling water flow required by the electric motor at different water inlet temperatures in each month by controlling an electric motor winding temperature and a cooling water outlet temperature and taking the accumulation of dirt thickness on a cooling chamber wall into consideration; calculating cooling water system energy consumption in each month according to the required minimum cooling water flow in a dirt formation state; and calculating cooling water system energy consumption cost, dirt removal chemical cost, labor cost and startup and shutdown cost, and with the least average total cost of cooling water system operation and dirt removal of the electric motor per unit time (year) as the goal, a programmed computer solving and determining an optimal dirt removal period. The research results provide a scientific and rational basis for the determination of the dirt removal period for a cooling chamber of the water-cooled electric motor, saving on costs.
