Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for calculating the permeability of a porous medium with respect to a laminar flow and a turbulent flow in consideration of geometrical characteristics and friction loss characteristics. A method for calculating the permeability of a porous medium according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step of providing the porosity of pores of a porous medium; a step of calculating a hydraulic diameter of the pores of the porous medium; a step of providing a friction coefficient of the porous medium; a step of calculating the tortuosity of the porous medium; and a step of calculating the permeability of the porous medium using the porosity, the hydraulic diameter, the friction coefficient and the tortuosity.
