Abstract:
A method for accurately and easily calibrating the wavelength of light detected by spectral sensors for generating a color conversion LUT without using special sensors includes: acquiring a spectral reflectance 402 of a target slave to be corrected and a spectral reflectance 401 of a master serving as a reference; acquiring an intersection of the spectral reflectance 401 and wavelength difference detect lines DL in a wavelength difference search range 403 of the spectral reflectance 401; acquiring an intersection of the spectral reflectance 402 and wavelength difference detect lines DL in a wavelength difference search range 403 of the spectral reflectance 402; acquiring a wavelength detected with the spectral reflectance 401 from the intersection of the spectral reflectance 401 and the wavelength difference detect lines DL; acquiring a pixel position of the light receiving element of the spectral reflectance 402 from the intersection of the spectral reflectance 402 and the wavelength difference detect line DL; and updating the contents of a table indicating a correspondence relation between a pixel position of the slave and a detected wavelength based on the acquired pixel position and wavelength.
