Abstract:
The present application discloses a method for capturing images in a video, and an electronic device, which relate to the technical field of photographing, can capture images in a video, and improves the image quality of the captured images. The electronic device acquires a first image and displays a first interface in response to a first operation, wherein the first interface is a view finding interface through which the electronic device is recording a video; caches in a first cache queue n frames of first images acquired by the camera; selects, in response to a second operation by a user on a snapshot shutter, a second image from the n frames of first images cached in the first cache queue according to additional information of the first images; and performs first image processing on m frames of first images comprising the second image to obtain a snapshot image, wherein the first image processing comprises cutting processing according to the cutting mode and the cutting parameter of a target preview image, and the target preview image is a frame of image in a preview stream and acquired by the camera when the electronic device receives the second operation.
