Abstract:
Provided are a method for casting molten steel, a method for producing a continuous cast slab, and a method for producing steel for a bearing, the methods being capable of suppressing a gas-liquid reaction between molten steel and oxygen in the air. This method for casting molten steel by using a continuous casting facility includes: a replacement step for blowing, under an incomplete combustion condition, a replacement gas containing at least flammable gas into a tundish (1), which is an intermediate vessel of the continuous casting facility, to replace gas in the tundish (1); and a casting step for stopping the blowing of the replacement gas after the replacement step, and performing a continuous casting in the continuous casting facility by using the tundish (1) without blowing the replacement gas into the tundish (1).
