Abstract:
The invention relates to hydromechanics and in particular to the domain thereof related to gas and oil industry. The inventive method is a hydrodynamic process. For a given channel cross-section of a pressure line, the flow is accelerated so as to reach a speed at which Re > Re(cr), where Re is the Reynolds number and Re(cr) is the critical Reynolds number; the flow is then interrupted during a period less than half of the phase of the hydraulic shock, which makes it possible to obtain flow interruptions. The device for cavitation of a liquid flow is mounted in the channel of a pressure line and includes a cavitator who has the form of a working medium. Such working medium is located in the casing and can move radially inside the lime and, to a limited extent, along the axis of the line. The maximum cross-section surface of the working medium in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the line is higher than 0.8 of the passage of the line but is not equal thereto. When the hydrostatic pressure is high, the flow interruption is facilitated by injecting into the pumped liquid cavitation embryos representing gas bubbles, solid dispersions or an emulsion of a nonsoluble liquid; cavitation is generated thereby even at high hydrostatic pressures.
