Abstract:
The invention relates to the machine building industry, specifically to a method and device for cleaning liquids of ferromagnetic particles. The method consists in repeated passing of the liquid through spaces with constant dimensions between magnetic bars which are situated near the liquid on the endless chain conveyor of the magnetic separator. In accordance with the invention, at least one additional magnetic separator is used for cleaning the liquid. The additional separator is placed near the principal separator or incorporated therein. The separator is provided with magnetic bars fixed to the endless chain conveyor and with an arrangement for cleaning the magnetic bars. The magnetic bars of the adjacent separators are coupled and create the spaces, the dimensions thereof between the magnetic bars of different separators remaining unchangeable in both cases, when the separators are immobile and when they move at equal speeds and in the same direction. The invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of cleaning the liquids of ferromagnetic particles.
