Abstract:
A method of cleansing an impurity-containing solution of a polycarbonate in an organic solvent with a water-based detergent, wherein the viscosity of a dispersion formed by mixing the solution with the detergent is determined and the proportion of the detergent to be mixed is controlled based on the relationship between the phase state of the dispersion and the viscosity. In the cleansing method, in which an organic solvent solution of a polycarbonate is cleansed with a water-based detergent, the amount of the water-based detergent to be used can be reduced and a high level of cleaning efficiency can be obtained stably. It is an economical cleansing method.
