Abstract:
By bringing a nucleic acid−containing solution into stable contact with a solid phase in a nucleic acid−capturing chip, the nucleic acid contained in the solution is collected in a stable manner. In a method of collecting a nucleic acid which comprises sucking a nucleic acid−containing sample into a nucleic acid−capturing chip having a solid phase capable of capturing nucleic acids and then discharging the thus sucked sample to thereby capture the nucleic acid contained in the sample in the solid phase, the ratio of the nucleic acid content in the sample prior to the suction to the nucleic acid content in the sample after the discharge is kept constant regardless of the concentration of the nucleic acid contained in the sample.
