Title:
METHOD FOR COLLECTING SCANDIUM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/025558
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to collect scandium from an acidic solution containing calcium, magnesium and scandium with high efficiency and in a selective manner. In the present invention, an acidic solution containing calcium, magnesium and scandium is bought into contact with a scandium collection resin, which is impregnated with an amide derivative represented by general formula (I), for 1 hour or longer. In the formula, R1 and R2 respectively represent alkyl groups that are the same as or different from each other, wherein each of the alkyl groups may be linear or branched; R3 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; and R4 represents a hydrogen atom or an arbitrary group that is bound to an α carbon as an amino acid and is different from an amino group. The amide derivative is preferably at least one compound selected from a glycineamide derivative, a histidineamide derivative, a lysineamide derivative and an aspartic acid amide derivative.
