Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To appropriately collect a specific useful part alone from fish heads
almost regardless of the fish head size, so long as the fish belong to the same species
and have roughly the same head shape, thereby elevating the efficiency of collecting
the useful part of fish heads. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] From a large number
of fish heads (W) which are heads(W) of fish belonging to the same species and have
roughly the same shape, the pituitary gland (M) alone is collected and treated
as a specific useful part of the fish heads (W). While a large number of fish heads
(W) with different sizes are brought into rest at a specific position, a useful
part curve (P), along which the pituitary gland (M) as the useful part of each fish
head (W) passes, is preliminarily determined and then the fish head (W) to be treated
is brought into rest at the specific position. The part around the useful part
curve (P) of the fish head (W) being in rest is cut roughly along the useful part
curve (P). Then the brain (N) that is an unnecessary part located on the cut section
(F) is removed to expose the pituitary gland (M) followed by the collection of
the thus exposed pituitary gland (M).
