Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for combining PSTN/ISDN emulating of the traditional terminals in an IMS system structure and to a system for implementing the said method. The present invention adds emulating gateway control function (EGCF) in an IMS system structure that can implement 3G terminal user multi-media service. The present invention also adds gateway GW accessing traditional PSTN/ISDN terminals and traditional terminal equipment, accordingly, it can provide traditional PSTN/ISDN terminal user access in the IP multi-media sub-system and can implement the function of PSTN/ISDN emulation. The present invention provides supports to fixed access and mobile access in an IMS system structure, it implements the combination between fixed network and mobile network, and especially, it is suitable for supporting both mixed and mobile full-service field at the same time.
