Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for combusting hydrogen-rich, gaseous fuels in a premix burner (2, 20', 30), in which method combustion air (17) flows through the interior of the burner and the hydrogen-rich, gaseous fuel (19) is injected into the combustion air (17). Since the injection of the hydrogen-rich gaseous fuel (19) is at least partially isokinetic, that is, partially having the same direction and velocity with respect to the combustion air (17), a high level of safety against backfiring is achieved.
