Title:
METHOD FOR CONFIGURING A SOFTWARE MASS DAMPER OF A CLUTCH CONTROL AND SOFTWARE MASS DAMPER FOR DAMPING SHUDDER VIBRATIONS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/158342
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a software mass damper (3) and a method for configuring a software mass damper (3) that is engaged in the control of a clutch in order to damp shudder vibrations of a clutch torque that is to be transmitted via an automatic friction clutch arranged between an internal combustion engine and a transmission and controlled by the clutch control. The software mass damper (3) is used to detect a transmission input speed (r(g)) at the output of the friction clutch and to correct, by means of negative feedback, the clutch set-point torque (m(k)) that is under the stress of shudder vibrations. In order to configure the software mass damper (3), the transmission behaviour when the clutch set-point torque is initiated is determined in a frequency range that is relevant for shudder vibrations across a controlled system (2) of the clutch control, and during said transmission behaviour a non-damped first frequency response of the transmission input speed (r(g)) and a second frequency response at the output of the software mass damper (3) are determined and the negative feedback for the software mass damper (3) is determined by a comparison of the two frequency responses.
