Abstract:
Provided is a method for constructing a context map for autonomous driving and control. A method for constructing a context map according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: creating a 2D map of a target area; obtaining situational awareness information from corresponding zones of the target area; and creating a context map by matching the obtained situational awareness information to the corresponding zones of the 2D map. Accordingly, a context map in which specific situational awareness information obtained/collected from mobility platforms are matched to areas divided into a grid can be constructed to accurately monitor the situation in the target area by zone, and can be effectively used in the planning of optimal paths for autonomous driving and the control of dangerous situations.
