Abstract:
Provided is a method for constructing an underground fresh water collection facility on a coral island and reef. The method comprises the following steps: step I: carrying out a technological exploration on a coral island and reef to be constructed; step II: constructing a ring-shaped waterproof curtain wall; step III: using high-pressure controlled-depth grouting technology to construct an infiltration reduction layer, wherein the infiltration reduction layer is connected to the bottom of the waterproof curtain wall; and step IV: constructing a rainwater collection and infiltration-aiding pipe network system. According to the present invention, by constructing a ring-shaped closed waterproof curtain wall with the depth reaching a Pleistocene karst aquifer on a stratum in a land area of the coral island and reef, and by constructing, under the land surface, a rainwater collection and infiltration-aiding pipe network system for reinforcing rainwater infiltration and an infiltration reduction layer for reducing infiltration coefficients of Holocene and Pleistocene unconformity strata, a huge underground water storage container located in the whole stratum of the island and reef is constructed, and the container is continuously replenished by rainfall, so as to solve the problems of a small amount of available fresh water, and the extreme fragility and instability of a fresh water lens on the coral island and reef in a natural state.
