The present invention relates to the field of underground space constructions, and more particularly, relates to a method for construction of an underground space structure across a stratum in a vadose zone. The present invention employs a pre-buried vadose water pipe in combination with a water-leveling communication pipe to achieve a replenishment effect with respect to groundwater levels at two sides of a structure, thereby mitigating the problem of vadose water being blocked by the structure, and minimizing the impact on water supply in downstream regions. In the invention, upstream vadose water is collected and supplied to downstream regions via a communication pipe, thereby ensuring normal springwater supply in downstream regions.
