Abstract:
 The present invention realizes a method for performing on/off control of a switch in which it is possible to reduce the processing load when performing on/off control of a switch for which a variety of operations are controlled by control data, and a switch circuit. All commands in a command table (131) contained in a RAM (13) are DMA-transferred to an SPI controller (17), and the DMA-transferred commands are transmitted to an IPD (18) via SPI communication to perform on/off control. DIAG commands unrelated to the on/off control of the IPD (18) are written in advance onto all regions of the command table (131). Computations are made of the transfer origin addresses of commands that have been DMA-transferred to the IPD (18) at the phases at which the IPD (18) is controlled so as to turn on and off. An ON command and an OFF command for controlling the IPD (18) to turn on and off are overwritten onto diagnosis commands written in advance onto each of the computed transfer origin addresses.
