Abstract:
Provided are a method for controlling an automatic traveling device to return to a docking station, and an automatic traveling device; obtaining size parameters of the operating area of the automatic traveling device; setting a preset energy level threshold of a power module according to the size parameters; measuring the energy level of the power module, and if the energy level of the power module is less than or equal to the preset energy level threshold, then controlling the automatic traveling device to return to the docking station. The invention achieves flexible setting of the energy level threshold of the automatic traveling device according to the size parameters of the operating area, and solves the technical problem in the conventional art of a smart lawnmower abnormally shutting down on its way back to a charging station.
