Abstract:
Disclosed is an aerosol generating apparatus, the aerosol generating apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprising a heater for heating an aerosol generating substrate to generate aerosol, and a control unit for controlling, by means of a control signal, power supplied to the heater by a battery, wherein the control unit determines the state of the battery at the heating starting point at which heating of the heater begins, and on the basis of the determined state information, calculates a duty ratio of the control signal.
