Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for controlling the composition of the combustible air/fuel mixture located inside a combustion chamber of a spark-ignition internal combustion engine with external mixture formation. According to the invention, at least two fluids containing air, of which at least one is an air/fuel mixture, are created. The fluids are fed to the combustion chamber, and the proportional amounts of the fluids are controlled so that their sum composition corresponds to the predetermined composition.
