Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method for controlling a hot air joint heater that can easily control the hot air temperature, hot air volume, and air pressure, and that can improve joining productivity of asphalt joints. [Solution] An ON/OFF circuit for a spark-plug ignition 23 and a timer relay circuit 24 are connected to a first relay circuit 20, and a temperature controller 26 is also connected thereto via an open/close relay circuit of a gas valve 27. Furthermore, supplying and stopping gas to a side heater 11 and ignition of the spark plug are performed only by turning at least one toggle switch 18 on and off, and opening/closing operation of the gas valve 27 is automatically controlled by a signal from the temperature controller 26.
