Abstract:
A method of controlling injection of an injection molding machine in which the weight of plasticized synthetic resin to be injected from the cylinder of the injection molding machine to the cavity of a mold so as to be filled thereinto is controlled in order to provide a versatility in which the quality of a molded product is kept at a given level regardless of the influence of external disturbance to the molding system or the variation in pressure of molten resin as a given condition, and investigation analysis from the beginning as performed in adaptive control is not required even when a mold is replaced by the other. A displacement SD of the screw at the time of injection and filling of the resin corresponding to a weight G of the product is set beforehand by computation in accordance with a specified formula so that the screw displacement SD may satisfy a condition that injection and filling of the resin into the cavity of the mold is stopped when the screw is displaced from its position immediately before the injection.
