Title:
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AN INTERMITTENTLY OPERATING SCREW TOOL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2003/013797
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for controlling an intermittent screw process. The inventive method is first carried out in a torque mode in which the torque is continuously measured. When a pre-torque (M¿F?) is achieved, the method is carried out in an angle of rotation mode wherein the angle of rotation is measured. The angle of rotation ($g(a)) is incremented at each lift, based on the angle of rotation $g(a) = 0 (corresponding to the pre-torque (M¿F?)). The torque (M¿HE?) which is reached at the end of the lift is stored. At the following lift, the measurement of the angle ($g(a)) is only begun when the torque (M¿HE?) at the end of the previous lift is reached again. The screw process is ended when a target angle ($g(a)¿Z?) is reached.
