Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling an inverter booster pump, which drives a pump (or a combination of pumps) at a point with the highest energy efficiency to minimize power consumption. The method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: (S101) measuring the pressure of a water supply pipe with a sensor; comparing the pressure of the water supply pipe measured by the pressure sensor with a preset pressure; (S103) driving any one pump when the preset pressure is higher than the measured pressure; (S104) remeasuring the pressure of the water supply pipe, which has changed by driving any one pump in step (S103), and comparing the remeasured pressure of the water supply pipe with the preset pressure; (S105) determining whether or not the operating efficiency of the pump in operation has reached highest efficiency, if the preset pressure is higher than the measured pressure; (S106) additionally operating any one pump from among standby pumps if the operating efficiency of the pump has reached the highest efficiency; (S107) increasing the frequency of the pump in operation to cause a change in the pressure of the water supply pipe, if the operating efficiency of the pump has not reached the highest efficiency; (S108) determining whether or not the measured pressure is higher than the preset pressure, if step (S104) shows that the preset pressure is not higher than the measured pressure; (S109) maintaining the pump in an operating state if the measured pressure of the water supply pipe is not higher than the preset pressure; (S110) retaking the measured pressure of the water supply pipe from the pressure sensor as an input with a control unit and comparing the measured pressure with the preset pressure;(S111) decreasing the operating frequency of the last operated pump, if the measured pressure is higher than the preset pressure; (S112) retaking the measured pressure of the water supply pipe from the pressure sensor with the control unit as an input, and comparing the measured pressure with the preset pressure; (S113) comparing the decreased operating frequency with a preset lowest limit frequency; and (S114) stopping the pump if the operating frequency decreases and is not greater than the lowest limit frequency.
