Abstract:
An injection molding machine equipped with servo motors (Ma, Mb) as drive sources respectively for turning the screw and moving the screw in the axial direction to apply the injection pressure and back pressure. At the time of kneading, the injection molding machine controls the turn of the screw so that a substantially constant torque is applied to the molding material and constant kneading conditions are obtained at all times. At the time of kneading, a real torque (Td) is calculated that will be applied to the molding material by the servo motor (Ma) that turns the screw, and the instructed speed for the servo motor (Ma) that turns the screw is so controlled that the sum of the output of the servo motor (Mb) for injection that moves the screw in the axial direction and the real torque (Td) will reach a preset value (Ts).
