Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling a drive part of a steering apparatus. More particularly, the present invention selects a motor having a capacity smaller than a motor capacity on the basis of a maximum load of an electric motor, wherein the electric motor is operated at a rated speed when the load applied to the electric motor is greater than or equal to a predetermined range, and the electric motor is operated at a speed higher than the rated speed when the load applied to the electric motor is less than the predetermined range. According to the present invention, necessary steering can be performed even with a motor having a smaller capacity than the conventional art, thereby improving the efficiency of use and also reducing the cost.
