Abstract:
The present invention aims to provide a method for controlling press forming by means of a press forming control system comprising: an apparatus for press forming sheet metal; and a control apparatus for controlling the operation of the press forming control system, the method for controlling press forming comprising the steps of: the control apparatus receiving a forming pattern; a press forming apparatus forming position configuration holes pitch-distance apart along the lengthwise-direction of the sheet metal, while supplying, by a predetermined pitch, sheet metal to a forming unit; the control apparatus for controlling, by sensing the position configuration holes, the punching movements of a forming punch, according to the forming pattern, and the on/off state of a cylinder positioned on the side of the pressing forming apparatus; and press forming apparatus forming the sheet metal by delivering the linear momentum from the cylinder to the forming punch.
