Abstract:
An ECU (37) opens an EGR control valve (20) so that an EGR amount is increased, or the ECU (37) restricts the amount of air sucked by a suction throttle valve (26) and increases the amount of fuel injection so that the increase in oxygen concentration is prevented, or the ECU (37) increases the amount of air sucked by a turbo charger (17) so that an exhaust gas flow rate to a DPF (22) is increased. By any one or a combination of the above, rapid increase in oxygen concentration in the DPF (22) caused by rapid retardation is prevented. Further, the increase in temperature in the DPF (22) can be limited to a low level by increasing an exhaust gas flow rate passing through the DPF.
