Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling the regeneration of a diesel particulate filter (DPF) in construction machinery. The method for controlling the regeneration of a DPF in construction machinery, according to the present invention, comprises: a first active regeneration step for initiating the active regeneration of a DPF as per a first predetermined active regeneration schedule when a soot amount inside the DPF is within a predetermined permitted range; and a second active regeneration step for initiating the active regeneration of the DPF according to the soot amount as per a second active regeneration schedule, which differs from the first active regeneration schedule, when the soot amount exceeds the permitted range.
