Abstract:
A method of controlling a regulating hole for regulating the quantity of a light
or the flow amount or pressure of a fluid passing through a pipeline. A partition
wall (5) formed of a viscoelastic solid containing magnetic particles is transversely
installed in the pipeline (3) through which the light or the fluid passes.The
regulating hole (6) for regulating the quantity of the light or the flow amount
or pressure of the fluid is formed through the partition wall (5) in the axial direction.
The opening degree of the regulating hole (6) can be varied by producing a magnetic
field gradient in radial direction in the pipeline (3).
