Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling the speed of an electric automobile depending on the state of charge of the vehicle's battery, comprising the steps of: identifying the magnitudes of the voltages of each of the cells of the battery, which consists of a plurality of cells; deciding whether the magnitude of the voltage of at least one of the plurality of cells is below a reference value; and effecting control such that the maximum value of the vehicle speed is no higher than a preset figure if the results of the decision show that the voltage of any of the cells is below the reference value.
