Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present invention are a method for controlling an unmanned aerial vehicle, and a terminal. The method comprises: a terminal determines location information of at least one waypoint according to a first setting operation of a user in the case that the terminal is not connected to an unmanned aerial vehicle, and determines a flight path according to the location information of the at least one waypoint; the terminal stores the flight path into a path record of a path database; the terminal picks up a first path record associated with the unmanned aerial vehicle from the path database after establishing a connection with the unmanned aerial vehicle, and sends the first path record to the unmanned aerial vehicle so as to control the unmanned aerial vehicle to fly according to information in the first path record. The embodiments of the present invention can improve the flight path acquisition efficiency of an unmanned aerial vehicle, and can reduce power consumption of the unmanned aerial vehicle when no route task is executed.
