Abstract:
A method for cooling a hot-rolled steel plate which has been subjected to finish rolling involving a change in the conveyance speed. The method comprises: a step for setting a conveyance speed change schedule on the basis of the temperature of the steel plate before the steel plate is subjected to the finish rolling and on the basis of the conditions of the finish rolling; a step for performing, in a first cooling section, first cooling by which the hot-rolled steel plate is cooled in a film boiling state; a step for performing, in a second cooling section, second cooling by which the hot-rolled steel plate is cooled at the water amount density higher than or equal to 2 m2/min/m2;and a step for taking up the hot-rolled steel plate. The conditions of cooling in the first cooling are controlled so that 0.8 ≤ (T2a' - T2a)/ΔTx ≤ 1.2 is satisfied.
