Abstract:
A method of cooling rolls of a cold rolling machine by injecting ozone into the cooling water in cooling the work rolls by jetting the cooling water onto the rolls of the cold rolling machine. Ozone is injected from an ozone generator (15) through an ejector (16) into the cooling water in a cooling water supply pipe (10). The ejector (16) is coupled to an ozone injecting pipe (17) that is connected in parallel with the cooling water supply pipe (10) on the outlet side of a feed pump (9). Owing to an ejector pump (18), the cooling water is supplied from the cooling water supply pipe (10) and passes through the ejector (16) under a high pressure.
