Abstract:
In the present invention, improvements are made to the cooling efficiency of a heat-emitting body of a storage device, and to the ability to perform maintenance operations. The present invention is accordingly provided with: a plurality of cooling fans for cooling a plurality of components that are used to operate the storage device; a first wind-direction plate for forming a flow path via which a stream of cooling air produced by the cooling fans contacts a first component; a second wind-direction plate for forming a flow path via which a stream of cooling air produced by the cooling fans contacts a low-temperature second component that emits less heat than the first heat-emitting component; and a housing for storing the plurality of components, the cooling fans, and the first and second wind-direction plates. The second wind-direction plate is constructed so as to be detachable from the housing and integrated with a side wall of the housing.
