Abstract:
A method of boiler corrosion prevention according to a water filling storage technique that is applicable to even boilers of structure complex to such an extent that complete drainage cannot be made to thereby render application of drying procedure impracticable, ensuring high safety to human body, and that at the resumption of boiler operation, does not need whole blowing and full washing with pure water. After the discontinuation of operation of pure water supply boiler, storage of the boiler is effected by filling the boiler with storage water having ammonia added thereto. Alternatively, after the discontinuation of operation of pure water supply or soft water supply boiler, first the boiler water is blown off and thereafter storage of the boiler is effected by filling the boiler with storage water fed, the storage water obtained by adding ammonia to pure water or soft water.
