Abstract:
Provided are a method of creating teaching data for a robot, and a teaching system for the robot, such that teaching can be easily provided to a robot including a robot arm. A monocular camera (30) and a stereo camera (40) acquire a teaching image including a wrist (22) and a hand (21) of a teacher (10) (Teaching image acquisition step: Step S1). A control device (200) determines, on the basis of the teaching image, a wrist coordinate which represents the position and the direction of the wrist (22) (Wrist coordinate determining step: Step S2), and creates, on the basis of the wrist coordinate, robot arm teaching data which provide teaching regarding the operation of the robot arm (110) (Robot arm teaching data step: Step S11).
